You need a Cosmy account (free is fine) with at least one product, and an assistant that supports MCP connectors.
1 · Copy your Cosmy connector URL (the same for every account)

- 1In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
- 2Choose “Add custom connector” and paste the Cosmy connector URL.
- 3Sign in with your Cosmy email and password. The connection then stays active and refreshes on its own.
- 1On chatgpt.com, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode (depends on your plan and workspace).
- 2Create a new app with the + button, name it Cosmy and paste the Cosmy connector URL.
- 3Sign in with your Cosmy account to approve it, then add Cosmy from the tools menu in a new chat.
- 1In your assistant, find the MCP or custom connector setting.
- 2Paste the same Cosmy connector URL.
- 3Authenticate with your Cosmy account.
- 1Sign in to the Cosmy web app to get an access token.
- 2Give it to your client as a bearer token, with the Cosmy connector URL.
- 3These tokens are short-lived: sign in again when the connection expires.

Do I need a paid plan?
No. A free Cosmy account is enough to connect. You'll want at least one product analyzed so there's something to ask about.
Which assistants does it work with?
Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, and any other assistant that supports MCP custom connectors. The connector URL is the same for every account.
Can it change my listings or run new analyses?
No. It's read-only: it reads the products, scores, gaps, Shopper Voice and rewrites already in your account. To run a new analysis or generate a rewrite, use the Cosmy web app.
What can my assistant see?
Only your own account: your products, their analyses (Alexa for Shopping, CoSMo, Shopper Voice), your optimized listings, plus Cosmy's public documentation on how the scores work. Never another account's data.
Are my conversations stored?
We log that a question was asked, not what the question said. No IP address or email is tied to the request log, records auto-delete after 12 months, and deleting your account removes its history immediately.
How do I disconnect?
Disconnect it from your account's connection settings in the Cosmy web app. Removing the connector in your assistant alone isn't enough, so do both to fully revoke access.
The connection stopped working. What now?
In Claude, the connector refreshes itself. If you connected with a token (Claude Code or scripts), it has expired: sign in to Cosmy again for a new one. Still stuck? Book a demo and we'll sort it out with you.
